With no sightseeing plans and only two nights of hotel booked,

I decided to just go with the flow

and headed to Korea for a hair transplant, the first in about 15 years!

 

Since I knew I’d be tired after golf on the day of arrival,

I booked a hotel about 10 minutes from Gimpo Airport by taxi.

The receptionist was Korean but spoke fluent Japaneseit really caught me by surprise!

 

I fell asleep right away, and the next day I had my surgery.

For the second night, I stayed at a hotel in Gangnam near the clinic.

I had the famous ganjang gejang (soy-marinated crab) that a friend recommended, and then went straight to bed.

 

On the third night, I moved to a hotel in Dongdaemun.

Maybe it was the lingering effects of the anesthesia or my body working hard to heal the wounds,

but I felt extremely drowsy and spent most of the time sleeping in the hotel.

 

On the fourth nightstill in Dongdaemun

I finally started to feel more awake.

I went for a walk, used a coupon I received from a Korean client to shop at Olive Young,

and got a personal color analysis on the same floor.

 

Apparently, I’m an Autumn (Warm Tone), with tones leaning a bit darker, almost blackened.

They said the colors I already love and wear suit me well, so that made me really happy!

 

After that, I went to see the Dior Exhibition at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza.

 

And now, here I am on Day 5heading back to Japan!
